Terms of Service
The short version: it's your account and your content, use it lawfully, and we provide the service as is.

1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Pedro Schott ("we", "us"), the maker of Cotask. By creating an account or using the apps, the website or the agent API, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use Cotask.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Cotask. Keep your credentials and any agent keys you create secret — anything done with them counts as done by you. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or key has been compromised. You must be at least 13 years old.
3. Your content
Your tasks, notes, projects and links are yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store, sync and display them to you and to the agents you authorize. We don't use your content to train models, and we don't share it with anyone other than the agents you connect and the infrastructure providers that run the service.
4. Agents
You can authorize AI assistants to read and manage your tasks through MCP or an API key. You are responsible for which agents you connect and for what they do with that access. Anything an agent creates arrives as a draft you can accept or dismiss, and you can revoke access at any time in Settings → Agents.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't use Cotask for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to store.
- Don't attempt to access other people's data, break authentication, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission.
- Don't abuse the API — automated traffic that degrades the service for others may be rate-limited or blocked.
6. Availability
Cotask is offered as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits arising from your use of Cotask. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be announced on this page. Continuing to use Cotask after an update means you accept it.
10. Governing law and contact
